The recent makeover means fresh paint and new facilities welcome campers, along with the 18 dinosaurs of course. Educational as well as a fun feature, the dinosaurs each have a sign that gives details of their eating habits amongst other information. Just a hop, skip and a jump to the Hannah Bay lake front reserve of Lake Rotorua, the local shops, and the airport, family entertainment is what this place is all about. Facilities include an excellent toilet and shower area, as well as a sparkling kitchen area. Mature trees are scattered throughout this spacious camp, 75 powered sites have hedged borders and a large, open grass area with 25 tent sites. If the children get bored with the amazing playground, and onsite bouncy castle, there is always the recreation room which includes Sky TV and a dining room with wireless hotspot and internet kiosks. There are also kayaks and bikes for hire, tree huts and an under 10 year old children\'s room. Of course the first port of call will probably be the large indoor heated swimming pool with a retractable roof, or the toddler pool and a spa for the grownups.
