DESCRIPTION:
This tiny lodge and campsite is set in native bush, just off the main road and across from the museum and gift shop. The camping area has a unisex shower (no extra charge), toilet and a small kitchen with microwave, fridge, cooker, cutlery, crockery and eating utensils. The facilities are basic but with character, and there are only three powered sites, although there are numerous tent spots. Relax in the native garden (when available), for the energetic and adventurous there are bush walks, hunting or fishing in the lake, or have your wild game meals cooked for you at the café over the road. $10 per person, children over five to 15 years $5, and under 5 years are free.
