DESCRIPTION:
On the rural outskirts of friendly Feilding, just 3km north of the town centre, is this older-style family camp. A handy location, with shopping 5 minutes down the road and Palmerston North only a 15-minute drive away. The camp has level sites, with a choice of gravel underfoot or plenty of grass beside the duckpond. The kids have a play-fort and trampoline amongst shady willow trees and there is a communal TV room. A modest and well-used kitchen has kettles, toasters basic crockery and cookware, a stove, hotplates, a fridge, freezer and extra-large sinks for all that washing-up after a slap-up BBQ in the outdoor dining area found off the kitchen. The ablutions are tidy and have a good disabled access suite. The laundry has all the basics and a dump point is provided. Your hosts are Colin and Wendy. Tent sites are $15 per person with children (5-14 years old) $8 or powered sites (and hard stands for vans) $20 per person with children (5-14 years old) $10.
