A unique resting place
Greenstone Retreat has accommodation options to suit all budgets. Natural, quiet and environmentally friendly setting on the edge of the village. Free Unlimited Wi-Fi, Self Catering Kitchen facilities, Large gardens, quality beds and interesting features.

The Historic 3 bedroom Villa can be booked as a whole private home all year round for upto 8 people or as individual rooms for singles and couples as a backpackers during winter. History, art and comfort with all you need.
At the back there is a new peaceful and comfortable small dormitory and a family room.
Lolly the caravan is tucked away at the back of the section.
Access to new bathrooms, undercover kitchen, campers lounge and barbecue.
Large gardens offer CAMPING for tents and small vans available on a first come first served basis, no advanced bookings possible, for $20 per person. I have 4 powered sites for small and medium sized camper vans under 8 Metres in length. For larger vehicles, please contact me with dimensions prior to booking. $22.50 per person, children upto the age of 14 are free.
Hose for fresh drinking water available. There is No DUMP STATION so please use facilities near Hokitika or Greymouth.
Greenstone Retreat offers pet-friendly, cyclist friendly, quirky and homely accommodation on the edge of the village of Kumara. Yoga and massage may be available for a small additional charge.
Short walking distance to West coast wilderness trail, walks, park, glow worms and award winning Theatre Royal hotel for a meal.
Cash only or NZ bank transfer.
Winter arrivals prior to 7pm and summer before 8pm please.
Pets on request and kept on leads please as I have a dog on site who can be unsure of other dogs.
