Located 20 mins from the end of the Tongariro Crossing, it is a popular choice for all kinds of travellers. Powered & non-powered campsites are available with use of the communal camp kitchen and dining area, equipped with all the essentials. BBQ tables outside invite campers to enjoy the outdoors and provide more dining space. Campers can choose to camp close to the kitchen and shared bathroom facilities. There are hardstands for motorhomes and campervans as well. WIFI is available on-site. Laundry facilities and a dump station are also available for guests. Non powered sites start at $19 per person and Powered Sites are $50 for two people. Backpacker rooms are also available during the cooler months to provide a little more protection from the elements.
