This is a privately owned campground. Look for the sign at the gate. This rustic camping ground with large trees and level sites is a peaceful place to be with the kaka birds to entertain you. There are lots of old cars down the back of the paddock and to the right you will find the very basic facilities. A wood-burner provides hot water for showers
and taps. There are flush toilets. The cookhouse has a coal range and a sink
providing rain water. There is a wet weather shelter if needed. Your host is
Mickey O’Shea. Camping here will cost you $7 per person.
