This charming little camp at Maketu is on absolute beachfront. The sheltered waters provide a wonderful beach playground for children, with rock pools and endless sand. Flat, grassy sites are spread across several seaside terraces connected by flights of steps and all with amazing sea views. The prime, lower-beachfront campervan sites are really quite something! The log-style ablutions are modern with free showers. The smart little kitchen has a TV, the usual appliances, and a covered porch BBQ/dining area with awesome views. The laundry has automatic machines. A licensed seaside cafe/restaurant at the park entrance is a pleasant place to spend some time, and you can get basic food items and takeaway meals here too.
