DESCRIPTION:
Take the famous Spa Road nearly to the end to find this resort spread across 20 acres of grounds. The main attraction here are the thermally heated swimming facilities with a brand new pool complete with a swim up bar and cafe. Check in at the resort style reception at the gate, which includes a well stocked shop and booking service for local tourist attractions. Each of the 140 spacious powered campsites have a tap and sump and there is an equal number of tent sites. The modern facilities include immaculately kept kitchens that open to attractively paved BBQ patio, and a separate building has a cosy TV room with large screen Sky TV and a well-equipped games room alongside. The extensive ablutions include unisex family, baby and disabled access bathrooms and three laundries. This camp has families well catered for, with the largest jumping pillow in NZ, as well as a smaller one for the littlies, enjoy the two tennis courts (night-lit), great kids adventure playground, and trampolines. A dump station, DVD hire, and wifi are provided, as well as pedal cars and bikes for hire. Your hosts are Lloyd and Trish Lusty and their team.
