Look for the signs between Rawene and Opononi. The approach road requires cautious driving, as you climb on gravel towards the farm gate. This is primarily a lodge with comfortable facilities and great views from the veranda. Campers have their own amenities on the upper level. There is a kitchen with gas ring cooking and a fridge, alongside the dining area. A plentiful supply of hot water serves the unisex shower suites. A washing machine is available, plus a tub. Campsites are level but do not have power. The fresh vegetables grown here are for sale. Have a farming-experience holiday, go tramping along the conservation walkways.
