DESCRIPTION:

A magical spot this is ‘real Kiwi camping’. The camp stretches over a promontory
and gives access across two beaches. One cliff has sites with spectacular views,
with access right down to the water in the second bay. You will be spoiled for
choice here; take your pick, sea view, green valley or beachside. Many sites are
hewn from the hillside where you will be quite a distance from your neighbour.
This camp is a working farm so please leave your dog at home. You will need
to be self-sufficient as there are just cold water showers, but numerous taps
and pit toilets are dotted around. There is no power, but freezer space may
be hired in the building near the entrance which also has a recharge centre for
all those gadgets. No fires are allowed, use gas only.

Your hosts, the Barron family live at the camp entrance. Charges for adults are $15 and for children
(5 to14 years) $7 with a minimum site charge of $30 in peak season.
