Look for the big Marlin at the gate. This is the best place to land _the big one_. Tutukaka is world renowned for its deep sea fishing and recognized as the No 1 Dive location in New Zealand, close to the Poor Knights where the frigates Waikato and Tui have been sunk for recreational divers. For the latte set there are four cafes nearby. This rural camp is five minutes walk to the beach, dive shop and the village shops. 60 powered sites and 30 for tents. There is a trampoline for the children, which has enclosed sides for safety. A wonderful kitchen has a large island bench, and good facilities and equipment. Adjacent is a dining area and TV room with comfortable furniture and a fireplace. Just outside is a BBQ area. Generous ablutions include a disability suite for both sexes and a 50 cent metered shower system. There is a special dive gear drying area. Grant and Denise are your hosts.
