In the heart of vineyard and fruit-bowl country, this camp is 6km from Blenheim and 10mins to the Picton Ferry. On one boundary are campsites along the stream bank, the grounds are open and well-kept with tree boundaries, and more trees have been planted for shelter. There are around 70 power sites, some with hard stands. The ablutions are basic and with a charge for the showers. Two kitchens are well equipped with full stoves, and the TV room has a pool table and table tennis for your enjoyment. Cool off in the swimming pool, or enjoy the children’s playground. This is a great family orientated camp ground within walking distance to
the heart of Picton. Set at the head of Queen Charlotte Sound, the land
is terraced with immaculately landscaped grounds and smart tiled ablutions
centrally placed. Grass and sealed sites are all amply supplied with taps and
facilities are excellent and plentiful. The combined kitchen and dining has a
TV room right next door, there are family ablution facilities, and two separate
laundries. The middle area in the camp is the social hub with a BBQ and
seating area under the gazebo, a solar heated swimming pool (closed in
winter), a children’s play area, and lots of outdoor seating. There is a good
range of indoor entertainment if the weather turns bad, as well as a spa pool.
Free wifi and a dump station are available, but dogs are by arrangement and only in the off season please.
Approximately 38kms from Blenheim along the Nelson Lakes Road, you will find this quiet naturist camping in five acres of beautiful park-like gardens with sheltering trees. The Wairau River is a short distance away for fishing and skinny dipping or enjoy a spa/sauna and the solar powered swimming pool. A kitchen/dining has all facilities including a BBQ area and a comfy lounge with a logburner for the cooler evenings. The ablutions are clean and smart. The laundry has auto machines. Next door is a pub with meals available. Your friendly hosts are Kay Hannam and Brian Williams. All sites $40 for two people or $25 for a single person.
It's great to see a campground with lots of quirky objects scattered around, from the robot that meets you at the entrance to the sites, to the hedge face. Here you will find level sites on gently rising land with good shade trees. An inviting outdoor eating area has a BBQ and pizza oven with seating around, all sheltered by a trellis and pergola. In the kitchen is an island with hobs, microwave and fridge, plus small appliances. The ablution block is light and bright with plenty of good hot showers. In the laundry are automatic washing machines dryers and an iron. All amenities are clean and tidy. There is a children’s play area, trampoline and cricket pitch, and a popular solar heated swimming pool as well as a TV room. Children can borrow DVDs at no
charge. A peaceful setting great for a family, individual, backpacker or groups.
There are large spacious sites for campervans, caravans and tents, and it is a gentle stroll to the beach, marina or restaurants. It is also handy to two boat launch pads. Your hosts are Felicity, Richard and family. All sites from $16 per adult, $7.50 per child.

In a rural setting at the Waikene Reserve, you can find this spot 3 km off State
Highway 70, and 25 km south of Kaikoura. There is camping in an area separate
from the lodge, with sunny spots and some shelter from trees. Facilities are
clean, fresh and friendly and include a kitchen, toilets, showers, and laundry
facilities. You’ll have views across to the inland Kaikouras. Powered sites $35
for two, unpowered $30 for two.

Waimaru Campsite is an isolated campsite close to the water's edge. Excellent base for water activities or fishing. There are 30 non-powered sites. Bookings not required.
Watson's Way Lodge is nestled in a secluded garden in Renwick, 10 minutes from Blenheim. Located in the heart of Marlborough's wine area, you are invited to relax in one of the double en-suite rooms, dorms or camp out in your van or tent.
There are 17 powered sites for motorhomes, caravans and other power-supported vehicles.
Then there are over 30 unpowered / tent sites with expansive unmarked space in the adjacent paddock can accommodate all types of vehicles buses, caravans, tents of all sizes. There is also remote riverside camping for self-contained vehicles only.
This camp is easily accessible in a level garden setting, and is only 6kms from Havelock. The ablution facilities are first class, with a disability unit, and the kitchen is excellent with a covered outside dining BBQ area. A good laundry and a comfortable TV and games room are provided in the 'Deadwood Saloon'. Trampoline and volleyball are available, the local river is good for trout fishing and many activities can be accessed from Havelock including the mail boat run. This camp has lovely scenery and is close to a surf beach. Go walking, fishing, swimming or boating from here.
A self-registration camp site at the Pukatea Stream. This one suits the nature
lover because as well as walks, the area offers sea fishing, swimming and small
boating. The only facilities here are toilets and cold water, but there is disabled
access.
