Over the hill from Maketu, this estuary-ringed camp has large, open, level sites bordered by water on two sides. The estuary provides a scenic backdrop, as well as safe swimming and launching for small boats. There is a shop that sells the basics and takeaway meals. Campers have access to two kitchens with stoves, microwave and fridges. There are two automatic laundry facilities and two sets of ablutions - with metered showers. There are 100 powered sites and 45 tents sites - well suited for fishing enthusiasts or, surfies or divers Your friendly hosts are Ian and Bubs Foden. Tent sites are from $10 - $15 per person. Powered sites from $10 - $17 per person.
