Wairoa is a pleasant riverside town within the sunshine belt of Hawke_s Bay. This delightful camp is tucked back from the road on level grounds beside the river and with a boat ramp nearby. Adjacent to the local sports complex and heated pool, shopping and dining are within easy walking distance. There are 112 sites (40 with power and own taps) on the carefully landscaped grounds, rich with planter boxes and shady trees. Quirky touches make this a memorable camp experience from the fairy lights in the trees, the novelty BBQ in the boot of a car, to the pink gingham bench frills in the _Ladies_ (blue in the Men_s!). The superb housekeeping is appreciated! An immaculate, spacious kitchen has everything you could need (including TV). The spotlessly-clean ablutions have metered showers and plenty of vanity space. There_s a well-equipped automatic laundry with washbasket and ironing facilities, a dump point and internet kiosks in the _playhouse_ by the office.
