Aaron Lodge Holiday Park offers quality camping close to Dunedin City. With 40 power and tent sites in a small and secluded area, most of the grounds are level with some platformed tent sites. A covered walkway takes you to the excellent amenities block, there are two modern kitchens, and each have TV and dining facilities. Two fully automated laundries and a spa pool are available, as well as an indoor swimming pool. Sing-a-long to the piped music in the showers, or a great family/disability bathroom is available.
Try your hand at the 9-hole mini golf course, pit your skills against your friends at petanque, or make use of the unique outdoor games tables. If you look for meticulous standards in a pleasant environment, you will enjoy it here. Your hosts are Margaret and Lindsay McLeod. Tent sites $46 for two, power sites $50 for two people.

Situated just west of the junction of the Sanson/Wellington/Palmerston North highways, this camp can be accessed either by turning off State Hwy 1 into Philps Street or by looking for the Motel entrance round the corner on State Hwy 3.
We are around an hour and a half out of Wellington.

DESCRIPTION:
An excellent location for hunting and bird watching, this complex has motorhome parks that are mostly sealed to cope with the coast weather, there are also a number of lawn sites however. A number of power sites have been formed close to the amenities recently. The modern and clean kitchen has everything supplied, including pots and pans. This adjoins an open plan dining and an attractive lounge that is pleasantly furnished. The ablutions are smart with and tidy, while the laundry has washing machines and dryers, as well as other extras. Showers will cost you 50c and a dump point is on site. The office doubles as a well-stocked shop, includes a credit card phone, and eftpos is accepted here. Dogs are welcome on prior arrangement only, and your hosts are Greg and Nathalie Hope. Both tent site and powered sites are from $17 per person.

Nestled into native bush, with brand new modern facilities providing free showers, with wheelchair access, a large spacious kitchen with gas hobs, ovens, fridges, microwaves, toasters and hot water on tap. There is a coin operated laundry with dryers and washing machines. A TV room with Freeview, and internet kiosk with wireless is available for a small fee. The ablution and kitchen areas are adjoined to a spacious inner courtyard. Here a large screen TV offers Sky, Sport, a Cartoon Network, UKTV and a variety of other channels for your enjoyment. The park is being added to almost continuously, 6 showers have been added this summer. You can fish, kayak, swim, surf, dive, set off on a day trip to Cathedral Cove and back, maybe dig your own hot pool, or enjoy the local cafes. Your hosts are Sheree and Grant. The hot pools are only accessible two hours each side of low tide. Don’t forget to take a spade.

There are not many camps with a Morris Minor graveyard at the centre! A
quirky camp in a peaceful setting, overlooking Lake Manapouri. There are
plenty of sheltered, private camp sites amongst the trees on which to pitch your tent or park your van, the sites in front have fabulous lake and mountain views. A homely central kitchen and dining area is well lit with big windows and a skylight, and there are a handy collection of utensils, pots and pans. The laundry has coin operated washers and clothes dryers, an ironing board and iron. The games room is full of pin ball machines and other electronic games are available for your entertainment. There is a classic old style childrens’ playground, and bookings for Fiordland trips and cruises can be made at the office. The camp is a departure point for Doubtful Sound cruises and there is a free pick up from the doorstep. Your lovely host is Joelle Nicholson, assisted by her two sons. This spacious and well-kept camp is very close to the local amenities on the eastern edge of town. To find it, turn off State Highway 3 either at the supermarket if coming from the south, or just before the railway crossing if coming from the north. The camps modern facilities include: two sparkling, fully-equipped kitchens; unisex individual combined shower and toilet suites plus additional toilets (the amenities block is wheelchair-friendly), and an automatic laundry and dump station. BBQ tables are scattered about the camp and beside the kitchen which has an impressive covered dining area. There is a TV room with internet kiosk. Wifi is available. This is a lovely campground close to the rail trail for you to rest your weary
bones and have a shower in their clean and well-appointed ablution blocks.
Cook a meal in the kitchen, then eat It at the lovely outdoor area just outside.
Put your tent or van up amongst the beautiful trees and rose bushes, and
know that if It gets windy you will be protected by the established shelter belts
and pine forest to the rear. Keep the kids entertained in the two playgrounds,
plenty of room to play soccer, climb forts, or swing down the flying fox. Just
down the road is a four square, café, and information centre, as well as other
small town shops. There is a dump point, internet access, and credit card

This large, nicely landscaped and secure park is on the fringe of Fiordland. The grounds are terraced up from the lake with 150 power sites, 100 tent sites and the occasional pine tree. A local shuttle service operates to the walking tracks. The modern kitchen/dining lounge is smart and has energy friendly lighting and all up to date equipment, and you can dine outside while overlooking the lake. The other kitchen/dining is a big dual entry room, with hob cooking, microwave, tables & chairs. An excellent commercial laundry will be welcomed by both wet holidaymakers and skiers, and there is a good supply of toilets and showers that are spotlessly clean. A spa and paraplegic unit are opened as required, and an adventure playground and boat ramp are available. Next to reception is ‘Tracknet’ which offers information on the area, walking tracks and can book your tours.
Te Anau Lakeview Holiday Park and Motels has been evaluated by Qualmark, and awarded Gold under the Sustainable Tourism Business criteria.
