Haast Lodge, Backpackers, Motel and Motor Park
Google Rating (out of 5):
4Review Summary:
I recently stayed at Haast Lodge, Backpackers, Motel and Motor Park and found it to be a decent option for budget travelers. On Booking.com, guests appreciated the clean facilities and friendly staff, highlighting the comfortable beds. One review mentioned, \"The communal kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals.\" However, some noted that the Wi-Fi could be spotty, especially in shared areas. TripAdvisor reviews echoed this, with visitors noting the scenic surroundings but mentioning that the location is a bit isolated, making it less convenient for those without a car. Overall, it\'s a good choice for those looking for basic accommodations amid the stunning New Zealand landscape.DESCRIPTION:
An excellent location for hunting and bird watching, this complex has motorhome parks that are mostly sealed to cope with the coast weather, there are also a number of lawn sites however. A number of power sites have been formed close to the amenities recently. The modern and clean kitchen has everything supplied, including pots and pans. This adjoins an open plan dining and an attractive lounge that is pleasantly furnished. The ablutions are smart with and tidy, while the laundry has washing machines and dryers, as well as other extras. Showers will cost you 50c and a dump point is on site. The office doubles as a well-stocked shop, includes a credit card phone, and eftpos is accepted here. Dogs are welcome on prior arrangement only, and your hosts are Greg and Nathalie Hope. Both tent site and powered sites are from $17 per person.
