A full holiday experience, this property stretches along 1500 metres of tranquil lakefront with the Southern Alps rising steeply in the background. The beauty is ageless and the 100% pure water is a bonus. With a boat ramp available, the petrol pump in camp is handy, and a shop that is open during the season is a bonus too. The children have a great playground, as well as acres of room to run around, and plenty of water to swim in. The ablutions are sturdy but clean and tidy, with metered showers, and there is a good range of laundry equipment as well as plenty of outdoor taps and a dump point. Of the two kitchens one has a big logburner with a sociable number of tables and chairs, and the large, covered outdoor BBQ area is a great success. Level camping offers 150 power sites and a multitude of tents, most with lake views. Pets are welcome in the off-season by arrangement. Tent and power sites $16 per person. Children aged 4 to14 years are $7, children under 4years are free.
